29 Days of Giving

I try to celebrate life with random acts of kindness. Our world sometimes lacks kindness, and a brief random encounter with it can really turn someone’s day around. At the least, I would rather live in a world with kindness and caring. As with any altruism, it isn’t completely unselfish. Giving to others feels good. By giving to others, I am also giving to myself.

When I first heard about the 29 Days of Giving Challenge, I knew this was something I wanted to participate in. So often random acts of kindness are convenient. I wanted to challenge myself by being more purposeful in my giving.

If you feel so inclined, please join me in this challenge. Make someone’s life a little brighter while modeling kindness for others.
